If a motorist sees a camera technician performing speed enforcement on the side of the road, they should remember that the camera technician has been sent there due to the high numbers of people who have been killed or seriously injured at that location within the last few years. Hopefully people passing the vans themselves will start to recognise why they are there and slow down permanently.'
